Rev. Jonas Burnham who died in Farmington, Me., last week in his ninety-first year, was one of the oldest graduates of Phillips Academy. He entered in 1810, hailing from Arundel (now Kennebunkport) in the District of Maine. He has spent most of his life in fitting boys for college. He continued this work till the last week of his life, having heard a recitation on the Tuesday before his death."
