James Cleo Parmley, age 70, of Riverside, Calif., formerly of Wayne County, Ky., passed away March 9, 2008. He was born August 13, 1937, the son of the late Claude and Edna Parmley. He married Daryline Grace, who survives.
He is survived by one son-Jeffrey James; and one daughter-Samantha Ann. He is also survived by one brother-Don Parmley of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Marie Stephenson and Bonnie Abbott, both of Monticello, Ky.; step mother-Marie Russell; three step brothers-Forrest and Jack Russell, both of Monticello, Ky. and Stevie Russell of Peoria, Ill.; two step sisters-Linda Smith and Cindy Roysdon, both of Monticello, Ky.; and two grandchildren-Tristan James and Brooklyn Elizabeth Parmley.
He was preceded in death by one son-Johnnie Lynn; two brothers-Mitchell Lee Parmley and Dennis Lynn Russell; and one sister-Edith Louise Sanmiguel.
He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in Riverside, Calif. Memorial services were held at Parnell Church of God on March 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Parnell Church of God Cemetery.
