Mr. Olin E. Johnson, 56, of Dearing, Georgia, entered into rest Sunday, July 23, 1961, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at Eternal Holiness Church, Dearing, Ga., with the Rev. Arthur Reeves officiating. Interment will be in the Sweetwater Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pete Guy, Stanley Guy Jr., Calvin Rabun, J.D. Richards, Henry Johnson and Edgar Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a retired farmer and saw miller. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Johnson. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World, Thomson Camp No. 1401 and of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Avera, Ga. Survivors include his wife, Mary Luke Johnson; seven children from his marriage to the late Annie Mae Rabun Johnson, and five stepchildren. These include; sons, Otis Ware Johnson of Macon, Gemell Johnson of Gray, Ga., Sam Johnson and Eugene Johnson, Dearing; daughters, Mrs. Georgie Bell Byrd, Milledgeville, Mrs. Ira Bell Brinkley, Thomson, Mrs. Mary Asa Josey, Dearing; stepsons, Frank Easler, Harlem, Baxter Easler, McBean, Edgar L. Easler, William C. Easler and Joe Easler of Augusta; a sister, Mrs. Eva Johnson of Perry, Ga.; a niece, Mrs. Bobbie Johnson; 10 grandchildren, and numerous other relatives. S.A. He was the son of William Allen and Mabel Silas Johnson. His sister, Eva, was born in Georgia in about 1908.
