"Mrs. Lizzie K Schaeffer wife of Edgar H Schaeffer, Westminster R.D. 2, died Monday at the Hanover, Pa., General Hospital, where she had undergone an operation two weeks ago. She was aged 61 years. Mrs. Schaeffer was the only child of the late Lewis D and Mary Ann Hyle Wantz. Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. David Byers, Westminster, R. D. 2; Mrs. Edgar Armacost, Westminster; Mrs. Glenn Bell, Westminster R.D. 5; Mrs. Joseph Harp, Myersville; and Mrs. Charles Halter, Jr., Westminster R.D. 2; two sons, Russell Schaeffer, Westminster R.D. 1, and Lawrence Schaeffer, at home, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral Thursday morning, meeting at her late residence at 10 o-clock. Further services will be conducted in Krider's church. Her pastor, Rev. C.S. Rebert, and Rev. J.E. MacDonald, pastor of the Lutheran charge will officiate. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church."
