Virginia M. "Jenny" De Haven, 90, of Walton, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport. She was born March 3, 1932, in Logansport to Johnathan and Violet Haynes. Jenny married Ben De Haven on October 11, 1951, in Logansport. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1980.

Jenny was Co-Owner of De Haven Soil Service along with her husband Ben for many years in Walton, Indiana. She was a member of the American Legion Post #418 Women's' Auxiliary in Walton and enjoyed cooking and needle work.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Good of Logansport; Shirley (Randy) Foreman, Walton; Cheryl De Haven, Mt. Vernon; and Ben De Haven of Noblesville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ben, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be held from 11 – 2 p.m. Monday, June 13th at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Funeral Services following at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Foreman officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton IOOF Cemetery.
