Arthur was born September 12, 1911 in Wheeling. Missouri to Charles Clyde McKamey and Katherine Phillipina Rebecca von Spreckelsen McKamey. While "Katie" was pregnant with Arthur she lost a twin boy. Arthur was born seven months later. This was referred to at the time as a "disappearing twin". He married Mary Margaret Hazelrigg December 2, 1931. He was an auto mechanic. He had diabetes but died from a heart attack February 28 in Plainfield, Indiana. He was buried March 1. 1992 in Cloverdale Cemetery.
