Death Takes Mrs. R. W. Bush, 84

Mrs. Hattie N. Bush, 84, widow of R. W. Bush, who had been living at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Noel (Lois) Reynolds of 601 West Sloan street, for the past two years, died shortly after noon Thursday in the Harrisburg Hospital. She had been critically ill for the past four weeks.
Mrs. Bush was born in the Somerset community on Feb. 5, 1879, the daughter of the late David and Sarah Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 15, 1943.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Reynolds, three sons, Dave Bush and Ownly Bush, both of Harrisburg and Robert Bush, Chicago, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Barney Bush, a daughter, Sina Bush, eight sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Saline Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Roy Jennings will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. The body is at the Gaskins Funeral Home.
