He married January 23, 1945 in Maple. He was in the U.S. Army and afterward was a heavy equipment inspector for El Paso Natural Gas Company. He moved from Farmington, NM to Seminole, TX in 1984 and lived there the rest of his life. He was a deacon in the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
