Elma Opal Robertson, eldest child and daughter of George Washington Robertson and Armina Leona Pigg, was born in Macon County, Macon, Missouri on 18 July 1897 and died at the home of her parents 25 March 1912 in East Bonne Terre, Missouri after a short illness of pleura pneumonia.

She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, two sisters Ruby Ethel and Nola Mae and one, half sister, Bertha Agnes. She also leaves to mourn four brothers, Carl Benton, Claude Denton, William Fisher, and Howard Edgar; and, a half brother, Luther C. Byington. She also leaves to mourn uncles, aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment was in the Bonne Terre Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri under the direction of the P. A. Benham Funeral home.
