Kiplin Philip Leavitt, 54, died October 10, 2004, at Madison Memorial Hospital of injuries received in a hunting accident. He was born September 22, 1950, in San Francisco, California, to Philip Neldon Leavitt and Betty Dawn Gilpin. After high school he served in the Army. He married Suzie Deen Payne November 26, 1999, in Idaho Falls. He worked for City of Idaho Falls for many years as a truck driver in the sanitation department. He was a born-again Christian and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, gardening, golf, planting trees, and his many pets.
