Son of William Weldon and Mary R. Jones-Weldon.

At the residence of Mr. William Beard of Tolu, our beloved friend and brother, W.E. Weldon, son of Wm. Weldon, was called to his reward after an illness of 18 days. He was born Jan. 7, 1843 and was married to Jane Clark, daughter of T.H. Clark, in 1870.

He leaves an aged father, a number of brothers and sisters, a devoted wife, and four children.
His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Deer Creek.

Dec. 14, 1893 - The body of Wm. Weldon was moved last week from the Deer Creek Graveyard to the Love Graveyard.
