Services for A. J. (Jack) Glenn, 91, Farwell, will be held at 2 p.m. (CDT) Thursday, June 10, at the Church of Christ in Farwell. David Echols will officiate.
Burial will be at Muleshoe Memorial Cemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Glenn died Monday, June 7, 1993, in Farwell. He was born Dec. 12, 1901, to William J. and Annie Glenn in Bosque County, Texas. He married Mildred Martin and she preceded him in death in 1982. He moved to Farwell in 1946 from Walnut Springs, Texas. He was a farmer and had also been a carpenter. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Farwell and had served as an elder at one time.
Survivors include on daughter, Ruth Blair, Farwell; one sister, Lura Rundell, Farwell; one brother, Sam Glenn, Cleburne, Texas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Frank Glenn, on Dec. 7, 1966.
Casket bearers will be C.L. Mahaney, Doug Scioli, Clarence Meeks, Weldon Embry, Eldon Embry and Claude Rose, Jr.
Honorary bearers will be Charlie Hromas, Preston Martin, Floyd Embry, Bill Meeks, Dr. Paul Spring and Dr. Bob Alexander.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Farwell or Texico Volunteer Fire Departments.
