Ruth Ann McCloskey, 78, formerly of Howard, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 in Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.
Born in Lock Haven on Feb. 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Alma Stricker Miller.
Her husband, Grover C. McCloskey Jr., preceded her in death.
She had worked at Sylvania, did private babysitting and had worked on the family dairy farm.
Surviving are a son, Richard W. Miller of Bellefonte; a step-daughter, Patsy Singer of Howard; two grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2010 at Centre Crest Nursing Home Chapel, 502 E. Howard St., Bellefonte. Rev. Alex Dyakiw will officiate. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care, 1015 Logan Blvd., Altoona, Pa. 16602.
