Clara R. Clelland, 90, of Church of God Home, Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA, formerly of 306 Clark Street, Fairmont,WV, left this life peacefully surrounded by family on May 20, 2013 after a short illness. Viewing for friends and family will be at Ford Funeral Home,Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV, 26554, 304-363-3130 from 1 to 3 pm on Wednesday May 22 with funeral service at the Funeral Home at 3:00 pm, Pastor Matt Holbert of Grace Lutheran Church, officiating, and grave side service at Mt. Zion Cemetery and Mausoleum at 4:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Saint Stephen Lutheran Church in New Kingstown, PA, at the convenience of the family. She was born in Everettville, West Virginia in Monongalia County September 12, 1922, the youngest child of seven brothers and sisters born to Elizabeth Nandresy Antolick and John Antolick. Mrs. Clelland retired from Owens Illinois Glass Plant in Fairmont in 1979 with more than 39 years of service, starting on the lehr and moving up to a secretarial position being in charge of production scheduling. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and O'nettes. After retiring from Owens, she worked in the Marion County Court House in the Assessor's Office. Clara enjoyed working on her home, gardening, traveling with her family and friends, playing with her great grandchildren, and planning the annual family reunion. She and her husband Ken were also active as the East Fairmont High School Band Boosters. In addition she was a member of Business and Professional Womans' Association, serving in a number of offices including historian and president, Toastmasters, and was a member in Eastern Star. Clara was also a life long member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fairmont. Clara is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth P. Clelland, in 1980. brothers and sisters: John Nandresy, Joe Antolick, Mary Boyd, Elizabeth Securo, Helen Keener, and Anna Callahan. Surviving are sons Kenneth P. Clelland, Jr, and wife Carol Olsen Clelland of Carlisle, PA, and William Bailey Clelland and wife Deborah Vincent Clelland of Lexington, SC, and grandchildren Kent Clelland and Jana Honeggar of Neunkirch, Switzerland, Christine and Jonathan Stallkamp of Gladwyn, PA, and Chase and Emily Clelland of Elgin, SC and Brandi and Brandon Vann of Lexington, SC. Great Grandchildren are Brady and Jameson Stallkamp , Mason Vann, and Moriah and Alia Honegger of Neunkirch, Switzerland. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
