Elizabeth Mary Bradley was born on Dec 29, 1897, in Lilly, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Michael Daniel Bradley (1861-1927), and Mary Ann Callahan (1870-1944), both born in Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth was the fourth child in a family of ten children. Her brothers and sisters were: Patrick Augustine Bradley (1891-1957), James L. Bradley (1893-1940), Gerald Joseph Bradley (1895-1942), Michael R. Bradley (1900-1994), Margaret Bradley-Booterbaugh (1901-1965), Susan Bradley (1905-1909), Anastasia Veronica Bradley-Nadolsky (1907-1987), Stuart P. Bradley (1909-1986), and Mildred Bradley- Booterbaugh-Pyrrhus (1911-1981), all born in Cambria County.

About 1920, Elizabeth married Joseph Ignatius Kapustka (1894-1952), born in Pennsylvania. Joseph was a son of Ignac Kapustka (1867-1858) and Anna Wocaldo (1858-1933), both born in Poland.

Elizabeth and Joseph settled in Lilly where Joseph was a coal miner. They had nine children: Joseph Gerald Kapustka (1922-2013), Thomas James Kapustka (1923-2002), Mary E. Kapustka-Crum (1925-2004), Vincent Kapustka (1927-), Phillip John Kapustka (1930-1070), John Kapustka (1931-1931), Edward C. Kapustka (1933-2009), Patrick Kapustka (1937-), and Michael Kapustka (1940-1944).

It is reported that after Joseph died in 1952, Elizabeth married a second time to widower Blair William Durbin (1890-1962).

Elizabeth died on Oct 14, 1986, in Cambria County, and is buried in St. Bartholomew Cemetery with her first husband, Joseph.
