Graveside services for John Delanor " Bebo" McCoy, 60, of Dublin, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville. Rev. Brad Nowell will officiate.
Mr. McCoy was born in Johnson County. He was the son of the late John D. McCoy Sr. and the late Catherine Miller McCoy. He was a resident of Dublin for 38 years. Mr. McCoy served in the U.S. Navy. He was Correctional Officer at Dodge State Prison. He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Brantley. He died Wednesday.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Elaine McCoy of Dublin; children, Alexander Scot McCoy, Shawn Colby McCoy and Shane Hutchinson, all of Dublin; sisters, Katie Graham of Wrightsville, Hazel Campbell of Meeks and Sue Marshall of North Augusta, S.C.; granddaughter, Lexie Hutchinson of Dublin.
