He was born on September 23, 1939 in Ralls to the late Vance and Annie (Myers) Cypert. On June 14, 1959 he married Sisty Evans in Ralls. He was a lifelong resident of Ralls, Texas and had served on the Ralls School Board and the Cone Gin Board.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sisty; a daughter and her husband, Cacse and Buddy Brown of Lubbock; a son and his wife, Todd and Rochelle Cypert of Lubbock; a brother; Tony Cypert of Boling; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
