B. O. (Shorty) Bozarth, age 60, of Cheyenne passed away Thursday, February 11, 1982. Memorial Services were Monday, February 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Cheyenne First Baptist Church with Roger Klopfenstein officiating. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. / Shorty was born on August 11, 1921 in Dallas, Texas. He moved with his parents to Eastern Oklahoma when a small boy. He was in A.C.C. Camp. He entered World War II in 1942, and also served in the Korean War. He married Rachel Parkburst on January 28, 1957 in Reno, Nevada. After marriage, they moved to Hammon, Oklahoma. In 1961 they moved to Cheyenne to make their home. He was a member of the Pentacostal Holiness Church. / He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Rachel, of the home; five daughters, Audrey Trout of Cheyenne, June Tinkle of Marysville, California; Carol Aymond of Cheyenne, Jeannette Gillispie of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Barbara Gordon of Denver, Colorado; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Gerald of Seattle, Washington, James of Oakhurst, Oklahoma, Charles of Alabama, Carl of Middleton, Idaho; two sisters Wanetta Wommack of Galena, Kansas, Rosetta Cervantes of Citrus Heights, California; two half-brothers, Edward and Jimmy Dale Bozarth of Miami, Oklahoma; one half sister, Betty Bozarth of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one step-sister, Mary Bozarth of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
