Mrs. Flora Voss funeral services held Tuesday.
Services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Purvis Tabernacle Baptist Church for Mrs. Flora S. Voss, 74, who died at 2:45 p. m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Hendrix, Lumberton, Route 2.
Rev. James Broom, Rev. Stanley Raney, Rev. Hilton Entrekin and Rev. Doyle Madden officiated with burial in the Coaltown cemetery under direction of Colonia Funeral Home.
Mrs. Voss was born in Georgia but had lived in Lamar County for the past 40 years.
Pallbearers were Cecil Taylor, Glen West, Henry Madden, Mike Byrd, Ivan Whidden, and J. A. Thompson.
Mrs. Voss was a member of the Tabernacle Church.
Mrs. Voss, who lived on Route 2, Purvis, is surived by three sons, J. M. Voss, Jr., and Lavon Voss of Purvis, and James Voss of Port Arthur, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Hendrix, Mrs. Clarence Thompson of Meridian, Mrs. Alvin McGraw and Mrs. J. T. Johnson of Purvis; two brothers, Lonnie Sims of Anniston, Ala., and Everett Sims of Horton, Ala.; two sister, Mrs. Grover Patterson of Anniston, Ala., and Mrs. Luther Gilland of Boaz, Ala.
