Mrs. Hattie Lassiter Montague, 63, of 301 South Person Street, died at Rex Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Saturday after a lingering illness.

he is survived by three daughters: Mrs. R. I. Coley and Mrs. J. T. Stevens of Raleigh, and Mrs. I. A. Hale of Cheverely, Md.; three sons, T. B. Montague of Raleigh, W. G. Montague of Norfolk, and G. C. Montague of Cheverely; her father R. H. Lassiter of Clayton, and three sisters, Mrs. J. F. Pulley of Raleigh, Mrs. W. B. Castleberry of Clayton and Mrs. J. E. Hodge of Charlotte; and two brothers, I. M. and R. B. Lassiter, both of Knightdale. Seven grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the First Vanguard Presbyterian Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the pastor, the Rev. A. Russell Buffaloe, officiating. Burial will be in the Knightdale Methodist Church Cemetery. The body will remain at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel until the hour of the service.
