Alvin B. Sublett, 69, of Paintsville died at his home as the result of a fire that destroyed his dwelling.
He was a Paintsville city employee.
He was the son of the late Jay and Lode Webb Sublett.
Immediate survivors include one sister, Mrs. Fannie Allen of Martin.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, January 17 by Rev. Scott Castle in the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Sublett Cemetery on Mill Branch Road under direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
