Jerry died from gun shot wounds. He is survived by his parents Cletus Garrett and Bertha Mae Dye; one brother Jimmie Ray Garrett; one sister Tammie Marie Coy.
Survived by his wife Pam Ireton Garrett; and 3 kids Cletus Ray "C.J." Garrett, Shawn Garrett, and Brandie Garrett.

Jerry Lee Garrett, 27, Kansas City, KS, died November 17, 1993, in Kansas City, KS. Services will be at 8 p.m. Monday at the Faith Temple Family Worship Center; graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Jerry Lee Garrett Memorial Fund in care of the church. Mr. Garrett was a lifelong area resident. He worked for Overnight Express Inc. He attended the church. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Dee Garrett, two sons, Cletus Ray Garrett and Shawn Adam Garrett, and a daughter, Brandie Marie Garrett, all of the home; his father and stepmother, Cletus and Karen Garrett, and his mother, Bertha Garrett, all of Kansas City, KS; a brother, Jimmie Ray Garrett, Hutchinson, KS; a sister, Tammie Marie Coy, Excelsior Springs; a step-brother, Robert Wayne Garrett, Excelsior Springs; a step-sister, Kathy Sue Neuman, Kearney; his paternal grandmother, Gladys L. Garrett, Kansas City, KS; and his maternal grandfather, Franklin L. Dye, Bosworth, MO.
