Melvin Charles "Charlie" Dillon Sr., age 74 years, died April 21, 2007 at his home in Fowlerville. Mr. Dillon was born April 29, 1932 in Fowlerville, NY to Walter and Jessie Dillon. Mr. Dillon attended the Fowlerville two-room schoolhouse. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict stationed in Germany as a mechanic, and retired from Allen Bailey Tag & Label in Caledonia where he worked as a pressman. Mr. Dillon is survived by his wife of 55 years; Ann; daughter, Robbin of Fowlerville; sons, Melvin Jr. (Alice) of Scottsville and Daniel Dillon of Long Island; grandson Dillon Decker; granddaughters, Kathryn Decker and Kyla Dillon; brothers, William (Marlene) of Avon, Vern of Mt. Morris, Matt (Patty) Dillon of FL; sisters, Katherine MacDonald of Leicester, Kathleen DiAngelo of Livonia; several nieces and nephews.
Friends called Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where his Funeral Service was held Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM.
