Mr. Lloyd Clayton Foster age 79 of Antioch Rd. passed away 7:00 PM Wednesday October 29, 2008 at his residence of natural causes. Private graveside services were held today October 31, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Jim Hazelrigg officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery. There was no public visitation. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Foster was born May 8, 1929 in Madisonville, KY the son of the late Ben William and Roberta Dollins Foster. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, Co-Chaired for Wendell Ford’s Governor and Senator races and also for Ned Breathitt during his run for Governor. Mr. Foster was a two term President for the Property Valuation Administrators of the state of Kentucky and served Christian County in the Property Valuation Administrators office from 1964 to 1993. He was also a 1948 graduate of Hopkinsville High School and a member of the local Democratic Party. He was preceded in death by one brother, Denton Foster.
