LINCOLNTON - Mr. Mickel Lander Heafner 76, of Route 6, died Nov. 2, 1991, at Lincoln County Hospital. Funeral is 10 a.m. today at Gainsville Baptist Church cemetery with the Revs. J.W. Crouse and Carl Wyatt officiating. Warlick Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Heafner, a retired employee with Burris Chair Co., was born in Lincolnton, son of the late Phillip and Mary Elizabeth Heafner.
Survivors are his wife, Letha Cunningham Heafner; sons, the Rev. Lander Heafner Jr. of Crossnore, Tommy Heafner; daughter, Mrs. Linda Houser of Hickory; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
