Katherine Fowler Barnett, 91, formerly of 512 Amelia Avenue, Spartanburg, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at White Oak Manor. Born April 23, 1919 in Glenn Springs, she was the daughter of the late John Davis and Annie Huggins Fowler and wife of the late Norman Lee Barnett. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Robert N. (Bob) Barnett and wife Shirley of Spartanburg and Dennis Lee Barnett and wife Kim of Union; and one granddaughter, Kathy Hines and husband Terry of Huger, SC. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Cedar Spring Cemetery, conducted by the Rev Todd Lowe and the Rev. Ray Southerland. Visitation will be after the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

The family is at the home of her son, Robert N. (Bob) Barnett, 215 Anita Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
