Funeral services were held, at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Methodist Church of which
she was a longtime member. The pastor, Reverend Billy Wilkinson officiated.
Born Ida Lea Echols in Arkansas June 29. 1875, she was married in Glenwood,
Arkansas November 6, 1890 to James R. Coker. The couple moved to Colorado
City in 1929. Mr. Coker died in 1958
Surviving are one son and two daughters. They are Tom Coker of Colorado City,
Mrs. Dee Hull of Lamesa and Mrs. R. M. Hamil of Fort Worth. Also surviving are
14 grandchildren.
Burial was in the Colorado City Cemetery directed by Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Pallbearers w e re Gwan Strange, Dr. W. S. Rhode, J. W. Randle, Roy Davis Coles,
Claude Hooks, Monte Hardegree, Tom Grant and Luke Thomas.
