"Rollie" died at Marianwood Nursing Home in Issaquah WA. He and Emily had several happy weeks together there before he came down with double pneumonia. At almost ninty-five the odds of his recovery were not in his favor. Alert almost to the end he finally slipped into a coma and died peacefully with loved-ones at his side.
"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
We celebrate your life, Dad. A life well lived, and one of many accomplishments. A life filled with wonderful friends and a loving family.
