"Belle", as she was known, was first married 17 Aug., 1916 to her first cousin once removed, Edward H. Baldwin. Edward's wife Josephene "Josie" V. Williams, had died just 10 months before, leaving Edward with 3 children to raise. Edward married Belle and she raised them as her own.

Sometime after Edward Baldwin's death in 1934, she married a second time. His name was also "Ed". He was Ed Hooker. Belle had no children of her own but had several step children from both marriages. She and Ed Hooker lived in Haleyville, Alabama, in the house, that still stands, on 6th Avenue at the Southern RR tracks.
