Plez Wardlow Hulsey was the son of Zach and Rose Etta Rigsby Hulsey. He married Cora Lee Morrison 23 Nov 1904 in Comanche Co., TX. They had two children: Aaron "Mug" Hulsey b.1907 and Belle Hulsey b. 1909. When Belle was only 4 months old, Cora died of Tuberculosis, leaving Plez to rear his two young children. Plez moved back with his parents and continued to live with them until at least 1920. Plez never remarried. He died of cancer at age 55 years.
