Her parents were Eli and Ema Baxter Fox. She was the 2nd youngest of 8 girls. She married Evermont Foster on Jan. 26, 1928. She was widowed on Oct. 12, 1967. She was employed at the arsenal during the war. Also as an LPN at the State Hospital.A long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Kankakee. She was involved in Eastern Star and Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America. Surviving are 3 sons and daughter-in-laws: Bob and Joyce Foster of Kankakee, Donald and Roberta Foster of Streator and Bill And Carol Foster of Marion. She had 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren (and counting).She particularly enjoyed needlework crafts and reading, among many other things.
