Architect and head of the Everett I Brown Co founded in 1914 in Bluffton, IN and moved to Indianapolis shortly thereafter. He was the architect of several Indiana National Guard Armories and well over 200 schools. After his death in 1960, sons Eugene and Kenneth took over the company and by 1982 it was the largest architecture and engineering firm in the city.
He was survived by his wife, daughter, and two sons, as well as a sister, two brothers, and 9 grandchildren.
