Ray Leon "Bud" Kuhn Sr., 86,
of Citizens Nursing Home, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 17, 1918 in Smithsburg, he was the son of the late Edgar and Myrtle (Kendal) Kuhn. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Ulysses and Jenny Toms.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes M. (Fox) Kuhn, in 1982.
He had been employed as a foreman by Wayne Tool Co.
He was a member of Acacia Lodge 155 of Thurmont, Md.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph M. Kuhn of Sabillasville, Md., and Ray L. Kuhn Jr., of Cascade; one sister, Helen Reefer of Frederick; one half sister, Olive Kuhn of Smithsburg; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one son, Charles E. Kuhn.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Robert E. Dailey and son Funeral Home, Thurmont. The Rev. Eugene Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Germantown Bethel Cemetery, Cascade.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 to 11 a. m. at the funeral home.
