PLAIN DEALING, LA - Graveside services for Mrs. Hattie Slack Matlock, age 95, will be held Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 4:00 PM in Plain Dealing Cemetery with Rev. Chad Hardbarger officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Plain Dealing, LA.
Visitation will begin Saturday at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Matlock was born September 18, 1914 in Plain Dealing, LA and passed away May 6, 2010 in Springhill, LA. She was a lifelong resident of this area, a member of Walker's Chapel United Methodist church and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Pittman and husband, Bob of Plain Dealing, LA; grandchildren, Trey Pittman and wife, Mary, Pamela McDonald and husband, Rick, Becky Wallace and husband, Brad; great grandchildren, Conner, Emma Grace, Lily Claire, Catherine, Madi and Gaines and brother-in-law, Weldon Matlock of Rockwall, TX.
Mrs. Matlock was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clines Matlock; five sisters and four brothers.

Pallbearers will be G. M. Dodson, Rick McDonald, Brad Wallace, Bill Pittman, Jeff Pittman, Wayne Davis and Trey Pittman.
