Waveland - Mrs. Elizabeth Whitecotton, 92, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday in the home of a son, John, in Waveland. She was born Aug 30, 1873, at Advance to John and Mrs. Jane Russell Plunkett. She married William F. Whitecotton August 5, 1894 at Advance. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Fred and John, both of Waveland, 3 daughters, Mrs. Opal Gilbert of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Myrtle Priebe of near Freedom and Mrs. Mary Reynolds of Dayton, Ohio; 25 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Freedom Baptist Church Rev David Canine and Lowell Mitchell will officiate. Friends may call at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland after 3 p.m. Wednesday. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding services. Burial in Freedom Cemetery.
