SERVICES MONDAY FOR CHRISTOPHER MAN
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at the Russell Funeral Home, Christopher, for Earl Gulley, 63, of Christopher, who died Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon. O. M. Keener, chaplain of the Benton American Legion Post will officiate. Mr. Gulley was born Aug. 31, 1980 (sic) the son of Herbert and Rosetta Gulley He was a lifetime resident of the county, a retired miner last working for the Valier Coal Co. A veteran of World War II he was a member of the American Legion, in Benton. Survivors are his wife, the former Helen Gays; a son, Wayne "Red" Gulley, Garden Grove, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Ida Wells of Treasure Island, Fla., Mrs. Mary Faubel of Peoria and Verna Lingle of Caseyville. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Sesser. Military rights will be held at the gravesite. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
