Agnes Viola Moore, 69, Garrett RD 1, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born in Black Township, Feb. 10, 1897, she was a daughter of John and Agnes (Snyder) Phillippi. Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Moore; five sons: Eugene, Frostburg; Charles E. Jr., Severn, Md.; John, Arab, Ala.; Dale, Dunbar; and Orrie, Cleveland; six daughters: Mrs. Melda Knopsnyder, Miss Martha and Miss June, all of Garrett RD 1; Mrs. Idella Thompson, Cleveland; Mrs. Esther Ohler, Berlin; and Mrs. Cleda Frankel, Bridgewater, Va.; 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a half-brother [sic ; half-sister] of Roy Phillippi, Robert, Charles and Mrs. Pearl Klink, all of Rockwood RD; Fred, Markleton; Dan and Orville, both of Geneva, Ohio; Mrs. Hazel May, Somerset RD; and Mrs. Irene Younkin, Ligonier. Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. W. F. Berkebile officiating. Interment was made in Laurel cemetery.
