Obituary;
Anna Louise Williford 58, of Kingston, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004 at her home after a courageous, short-term bout with cancer.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a special friend to many. She was a well-known beautician and an avid gardener who loved the outdoors. Most of her free time was spent caring for her flowers and helping others with their flowers. The most special joy in her life were her grandchildren. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Kingston and was employed by Brooks Creative Hair Designs in Kingston.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Jerry Williford mother, Charlene Hatfield of Roan Mountain; daughters and son-in-law, Angela Becker of Kingston and Stacy and Doug Edgemon of Ten Mile; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Brenda Hatfield of Roan Mountain; half-brother, Dean Frogge of Pall Mall; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Archie Saunders of High Point, N.C.; half-sister Drexel Coner of Altons, Tenn.; grandchildren, Christopher Edgemon, Zack Becker and Sierra Glandon.

Funeral service was at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, in Brown Funeral Home chapel, Kingston, with the Rev. Mark Umbehagen officiating. Graveside service was at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in Kingston Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938 or Roane County Gideon Association, P.O. Box 476, Kingston, TN 37763.
