Cottage Grove Items
March 22nd, 1883
Mr. Fenwick, of Siuslaw, died on the 12th. His son had gone east of the mountains, consequently he had no relative to soothe his last hours, as he and his son lived alone. We presume, however, that the neighbors were kind to the old gentleman during his last illness.
Footnote: Lorane was known a Suislaw at the time of Alexander Fenwick's death. The name change came a few years later (to Lorane) upon the arrival of a U.S. Post Office.

Gravesite Details
This little cemetery is located next to The Kings Estate Winery. It's fenced in and easy to access. A little overgrown but not horribly.
