Born January 4, 1947 to Elliot and Gladys Anderson in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Married Larry Koons on April 19, 1971 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had six children. Later divorced. Married Kirk Koskella on December 8, 2006.
She served well in the LDS Church in many callings. She was exuberant and full of life. She loved music. She sang with the Oratorio Society of Utah. She'd fill the house with religious music Sunday mornings by playing piano and would often sing in choirs with her sisters. When she and her siblings would get together they'd often tell stories and laugh until they cried. She loved the outdoors, going camping, hiking with kids and grandkids.
Survived by husband Kirk Koskella, children: Andy (Karen) Koons, Dana (Kyle) Johansen, Barry (Ann) Koons, Ryan Koons, Noel Koons, Dayton Koons who is serving in the Santa Rosa California mission, eleven grandchildren, mother Gladys Anderson, sisters: Karla Anderson, Beverly (Richard) Barlow, Valane (Reed) Wheeler, brother Steve (Robyn) Anderson. Preceded in death by father, niece and nephew.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Farmington Rock Chapel, 272 North Main Street, Farmington. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Farmington Rock Chapel and Friday morning from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment-Bountiful Memorial Park.
