The name Jurusha runs all through this family. Jurusha Tooley Winn, Jurusha Jones Hauss/Hoss, and Jurusha McAlester Golden.
Jurusha died somewhere between 1865 and 1870. 1870 census John W. Golden appears in Chariton County Census with a Julia. Julia is not old enough to be the child's mother that is in the census also. That child's name was James G. Golden. My first thought was the 1870 census taker did not know how to spell Jurusha. But father in law Hall was living with them or they were enumerated with him. In 1880 census Julia Golden appears in Pettis county census, remarried more children. Since that time I have deleted out some important info. Jurusha Ann's death is not in the Bible pages that I can see. Her marriage to John W. Golden is plain, also listed in Chariton County Marriages.

Bible records Ann McAlister to John W. Golden May 1862.

Enumerated with John W. Golden is a 63 year old William S. Hall. Wifes name is Julia, and age on John and Julia is questionable if it is John and Jurusha. Needs More research. This was book form, not microfilm. Further research has been done. Column 14 is Married within the year, if yes what month. Listed June. Julia is 16 years of age and thier is a boy in the home 5 years old. Julia is not old enough to be the mother. Julia is John W. Golden's third wife and 5 year old James G. Golden is John and second wife Jurusha child. I searched further and it looks to me, John W. and Julia moved to Sedalia, Pettis County (1880 census) where John W. Golden possibly died and Julia remarried again. This is where I loose the boy James G. Golden. Still researching.
