TEAGUE - A. B. (Sonny) Sowers, 74, of New Caney, formerly of Teague, died Friday at a Humble hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ricks Funeral Home Chapel in Teague, the Rev. Walter Brown officiating. Burial will be at Driver Cemetery in Teague.
Mr. Sowers was born Aug. 16, 1913, in Arkansas. He had lived in Teague most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Dayle Sowers of New Caney; one son, Leslie Sowerss of New Caney; one sister, Pearlie Blakeney of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
