Services for Winifred Alligood, of Montrose, Ga. will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009, graveside at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jack Key will officiate.

Winifred Parish Alligood was born in Cedar Grove in 1929. Her family moved to Dublin several years later. She was born to Samuel and Dotha Parish. She was the widow of the late Aaron Dewey Alligood. She was also pre-deceased by her brother Eugene Parish and sister Minton Davis.

She was retired many years ago from Shamrock of Dublin, Ltd. During her marriage she traveled to many different areas as her husband was in the Navy. She was a faithful member of The First United Methodist Church of Dublin
until she became unable to attend. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and was so proud of them.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Ray) Watson, Montrose; son, Mike (Patty) Alligood, Madison; brother, Ronald (Jean) Parish; sister, Christine Humphrey, of Macon; grandchildren, Greg (Paula) Wyatt, of East Dublin, Jennifer (Kei Arthur) Whitaker of Montrose, Leslie Wyatt of Montrose, Patrick (Kristi) Alligood of Madison; step-grand Children: Terri (Keith) Sloan of Milledgeville, and Dale Watson of Dudley, Tim (Lisa) Watson; great-
grandchildren, DJ Watson, Cheyenne Clayton, Hannah and Brandon Wyatt, Madison and Mackenzie Sloan, Kaitlyn and Emma Alligood, Morgan Watson and Jacob Watson.

Pallbearers will include Dale Watson, Patrick Alligood, Danny Humphrey, Ronnie Parish, Bruce Parish & Jesse Woodard.
