As a young girl, she moved with her parents to Loving, where she lived until 1940. At that time, she moved to Olney to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Emmett A. Cox, 1018 West Elm. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Survived by one sister; two nieces - Miss Uardn Cox and Mrs. W.M. Fralin; two nephews - Jack Cox and R.G. Cox.
