Mrs. Polly Ann Beard, an aged woman of the Shady Grove section died early last Friday morning of diseases incident of old age. Mrs. Beard was ninety years old and was one of the best known aged ladies in this section. The funeral services were held the same day, with interment in the cemetery at Shady Grove.
One son and one daughter survive. They are Mrs. Addie Brown and J.K. Beard.
