Frank Watson Arthur, 91, of 104 Campton Circle, died Thursday, April 29, 2010.
Mr. Arthur was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 25, 1918, the son of the late Ernest Ervin and Lenora Mae (Hammett) Arthur. He was the widower of Helen (Stephens) Arthur and was first married to the late Lillian Gilbert Arthur.
He retired from Christman/Parson's Construction Company, was a member of Inman First Baptist Church, American Legion Post 45 in Inman and was a US Army Vet of World War II.
He is survived by a son, Frank Cecil Arthur; one sister, Eunice Mae Coggins; one brother, Ernest Leon Arthur, all of Spartanburg, SC; three grandchildren, Tina Johnson, Tammy Davis, and Trey McDowell and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2010, in Cannon's Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery, Spartanburg, with Dr. Paul Moore officiating.
