Mr. W. W. Wall was born in Illiois November 23, 1853, and died at Solo, Mo., April 30, 1933, making his age at time of death 79 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Mr. Wall and Elizabeth Helen Richardson were united in marriage August, 1877. To this union were born nine children: Emma Harmon, Watson, Mo.; Ollie Smith, Solo, Mo.; Maud Smith, Fairfax, Mo.; Stella Shoemaker, Avery, Okla.; Ida Grose, Houston, Mo.; Pearl Blaine, Carl Junction, Mo.; Charley Wall, Roy, Mo.; Olin Wall, Fairfax, Mo.; Homer Wall, San Quinton, California.

Only two of the children were at his bedside at the time God called him home to rest -- Mrs. Ollie Smith and Mrs. Ida Grose.

He was converted about 50 years ago and was ready to meet his Maker. His wife passed on to her eternal home four years ago, January 6. She was also with her daughter, Mrs. Ollie Smith, at time of her death.

There is an ache of sorrow in our hearts today, for a dear one who is so sweetly sweeping beneath the clay. Just a week has passed since we saw our dear father and grandfather last. We wish you were here with us again, but we know you would not want to come back to this world of sorrow and sin. We miss you; yes, we do miss you, but we know you are with Grandma, your companion so true. Grandma and Grandpa, were you peeking through the pearly gates, could you see how our poor hearts with sorrow did ache? Someday Jesus is coming to bring us home, and we know we shall see you then, with outstretched arms and a kiss for each, as you used to do when we came to see you; but then we won't have to come back home and wait for days and years to see you again; then we can live together with Jesus forever in the land where we will never grow old, and we will not have to give up our dear grandma and grandpa anymore. Dear ones, we will work, we will watch and pray until Jesus calls us home with Him to stay; then we will all sing the praises of Jesus, our King, around the great white throne and walk the golden streets. We will meet you in the morning.

A granddaughter, BESSIE GROSE
