YOUNG VETERAN IS BURIED HERE

With military services conducted by the VFW and American Legion posts of Shippensburg, the body of Paul E. Beltz, 23, Fayetteville R. 1, was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery this morning.

The young man, a veteran of six years Army service, had been discharged from the Army September 24. He planned to re-enlist.

Early Saturday morning he met his death along the Fayetteville-Mont Alto road when the car in which he was a passenger crashed into the side of a brick barn, ripping a 15 by 15 foot hole in the four-layer brick wall of the barn.

Driver of the car was said by state police at Chambersburg to be Carl Henry Reasner, 26, Fayetteville, an employee of the Gettysburg Shoe Co.

Franklin County Coroner J. D. Goshen is planning an inquest. State police are continuing their investigation.
