BRACKEN – Catherine “Cass” (Reiland), 93, of Twin Rocks, formerly of Revloc, passed away March 11, 2016.

Born Oct. 27, 1922 in Revloc, daughter of the late Henry and Lydia (Beba) Reiland.

Preceded in death by husband, George L. Bracken in 1982; daughter, Gloria Barthold; two sisters; and four brothers.

Survived by children, Sandra (Ronald) Bonser, of Texas; Ronald (Vickie) Bracken, of Michigan; and Janet (David) Frost, of Pennsylvania. 16 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 25 great great grandchildren. Sister of Leona (Thomas) Reese, Loretto; and Henry (Mary Jane) Reiland, of Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Member of Twin Rocks VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Cass was a former volunteer for various area activities over the years. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger, officiating. Interment, UB Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers donations in Cass’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society or Susan B. Komen For The Cure.
