The body of Mrs. Mary Magdalene Witt, 76, was found Thursday night at her home in Wellersburg where she lived alone. Death is believed to have occurred sometime Tuesday. She was the widow of Noah E. Witt. Born July 12, 1890, at Kennel's Mills, near Hyndman, Mrs. Witt was a daughter of the late Daniel and Cadilla (Clites) Troutman. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Irene Pape, of Eckhart; two sons, Myrle Witt, of Baltimore, and Curtis C. Witt, of here; a sister, Mrs. Lavada Sturtz, here, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The body is at the Ziegler Funeral Home at Hyndman where the family will receive friends today from 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted at the funeral home today at 2 p.m. by Rev. J. Howard Smith. Burial will be in the Getz Cemetery.
